Carey Earle is a yin yang of two extremes:  the rolling green mountains of her home state of rural Vermont and the pulsating beat of New York City where she lived and worked for twenty years.  She brings that energy to her clients as the chief idea farmer of Green Apple Marketing where she delivers fresh crisp thinking on adaptive marketing, branding, market positioning, messaging, and social media as part of the marketing mix.

A serial entrepreneur and brand stylist who began her career on Madison Avenue, Carey has spent the last 20 years crafting brand strategy and marketing messages for some of the world’s most respected brands and high growth companies.  She has appeared on CNNfn, CNBC, Bloomberg and PBS, was featured in a documentary about women business owners called “Alpha Female,” and has also been quoted in: The New York Times, Fortune Small Business, Business Week, Working Woman, Adweek and American Demographics.

She has co-authored The Power of Magnetic Leadership with Dianne Durkin, and two books about project management called The Know How Network and Business in a Backpack. She has also authored numerous articles, columns and white papers including: How to Beat the Recession Blues. 20 Exercises to Build Your Marketing Muscle.

Carey is an adjunct instructor of marketing at New York University, and also developed and taught a marketing management course at her alma mater, American University.  She served as President of the American University Alumni Board, and currently serves as a member of the Dean’s Advisory Council for the School of Communication.  She also served on the advisory board of the Brooklyn Business Library where she judged business plans for their annual PowerUp competition. A certified women business enterprise (WBE), Carey also volunteers her time to certify other women-owned businesses in Vermont.

A native of Vermont, Carey runs her business from a log cabin there and serves clients from Hong Kong and Seoul to New York and Paris.  You’ll find her wherever there’s wifi.
